What are submission Guidelines & Why should you follow them?

FindExpertArticles.com maintains a standard when it comes to the quality of content being posted on FEA. This is done to ensure that our visitors gets only the best & high quality content. This also helps the authors since more & more webmasters will likely syndicate a quality article over junk.

Other then that we also don’t want our authors to suffer the Google supplement index. It is true that the duplicate content penalty is a rumor. But it is also true that Google will add duplicate content to its supplement index. Which means your content & our directory won’t show up on Google search. This turns out to be very bad in terms of SEO since the basic purpose of authors writing articles is to gain a rank in Google for their keyword. Now ask yourself would Google count your back link if you kept posting the same article on 1000 different sites? Even if you did would Google show the article on its search? No it will just simply supplement it. This is why we have some rules & regulations to ensure quality. These rules are enforced very strictly and there is no bypassing the submission guidelines.

We have an active team of editors who ensure that the guidelines are followed. You don’t need to worry about the approval time, if you follow the guidelines while writing your article the faster your article will get approved.

Our Submission Guidelines are easy and simple to follow. We will reject all articles that do not follow the following submission guidelines:

Word limit: The minimum word limit allowed is 250. The maximum is 3000. No articles below or above these limits will be accepted. An ideal article should be between 400-800 words.
Uniqueness: The article you submit must be your own. Read the DMCA notice if you are planning to use someone else work. We allow rewritten or spun articles as long as they pass the Copy Scape test, if you are using PLR or MRR articles please ensure that you have properly rewritten them. Please note that you are allowed to submit articles that have already been published elsewhere, however you should be the owner of those articles! Do not submit the same article multiple times or you might get banned. All the articles submitted are evaluated using Google & Copy Scape first to ensure their uniqueness. No Plagiarism is allowed!
Quality: Once your article is proved to be unique we will check them for quality. Articles are written for the average visitor so you must ensure that your articles are of professional quality. If you are spuning or rewriting articles you must ensure that they are understandable by an average human. No junk will be allowed to pass by.
Agreement: When you submit your articles to FEA you agree that you have read, understood & accepted the Terms of service,the Disclaimer, the Privacy policy & the DMCA notice. You are giving us the permission to allow the syndication of your articles to our webmasters, visitors & users via the various methods we provide. This clause is automatically agreed upon when you click ‘submit for review’.
Resource box & Links within the Article: We allow up to 3 links to your or your clients site, these may be placed anywhere in the article. The last para is counted as the resource box, links in the last para or resource box are inclusive of the 3 total allowed links. No Affiliate links, links from shortening services or cloaked links are allowed. Broken links will be auto removed. Please remember that having multiple links to the same site with the same keywords in the same article will not get you multiple links since Google will count only the first link.
Understanding: FEA is a free service. Submitting an article for review does not guarantee you approval or publishing of your article. At the same time there is no financial benefit or compensation received from FindExpertArticles.com when you submit articles to FEA.
Font & Format: Articles submitted with a different font other then the one we use at FEA will be rejected. You are not allowed to use colored text other then black. Size of font is auto adjusted by the in build editor, excessive use of ‘bold’, ‘italic’ or other formatting options will result in editing or auto rejection. Do not use Caps Lock or use lowercase letters while starting an paragraph. Excessive use of symbols such as quotation marks will also be rejected or edited. The articles should have proper spacings between each paragraph, this is taken care of automatically if you are writing it in the inbuilt writer, but if you are copy pasting from notepads or other tools then please make sure it has proper spacing & is properly formatted.
Spelling & Grammar: Your article should be checked for spelling mistakes using the inbuilt spell checker, this would reduce the work of our editorial team & give you faster approval. Articles with poor grammar & lots of spelling mistakes will be rejected. Please ensure you have also proofread your article before submitting it.
Flow, On Topic & To the Point: Your article should be in flow. This means that articles should not contain repetition of sentences or paragraphs. The article should make sense & should be related to the topic of the title. It doesn’t make sense if your title is regarding cars & you end up writing an article on boats. You must ensure that your article is on topic & to the point.
Keywords density: You are allowed to target keywords by hyper-linking. However we suggest to keep the keywords density below 5%. Use a keyword density checker to do this. Absolutely NO keyword stuffing will be tolerated.
Category: We have almost enough category on all the niches & topics you could imagine. Articles submitted should be in the appropriate category. you are not allowed to use multiple categories. If there is no sub category for your article then submit it in the general category of your niche. You can also suggest extra categories to us by contacting us directly. If you don’t know which category is appropriate for your article then select either ‘General’ or ‘UnCategorized’. Such articles will be assigned category by our editors. DO NOT SUBMIT ARTICLES TO THE ‘FEA BLOG’ CATEGORY. This category is reserved for the FEA admin & editors, all articles submitted to this category will be rejected or drafted without notice.
Titles: Try to keep your titles short and simple. You can include words such as ‘reviews’, etc. However titles should be appropriate for the category & niche you are writing on. No spamming is allowed in titles with excessive use of keywords. Titles cannot contain HTML tags, URLs, affiliate links or names, unwanted punctuations, or names of authors. Titles must be more then 1 word long & maximum 150 characters.
Permalinks: The permalinks are auto created for you when you enter the title. However if it does not then please change the permalink structure by copy pasting the title of your article in it. No other permalinks are allowed.
Scripts, Codes, Custom Fields & Hacks: Since our in built writer uses word-press WYSIWYG HTML editor it is very easy to insert special HTML codes, java scripts or any sort of hidden links. Our editors check the HTML version before checking the visual text. If you are found to be doing this then your article will be rejected & you will be banned form the site for life. No exception. Authors also have access to the word-press custom fields. You can use these to add thumbnails, videos etc. In case you don’t know what you are doing please don’t play around. If found you are adding any other custom fields then those allowed, you will be banned.
Ethics: Your Articles Must not mention any thing that may be deemed as offensive or contraband e.g, pornography & adult services, tobacco, selling alcohol, gambling, spamming, warez ,hacking, traffic jamming devices, racial intolerance, weapons, promotion of drug use and any other topic that may be considered as not family-friendly and/or deemed illegal that go against the law in your state, province, territory and country. Articles that attempt to feature any of these will immediately be rejected & the author warned. We have a zero tolerance policy for this.
Change: We reserve the rights to change any of the editorial guidelines mentioned here. For your own sake please refer to the guidelines as often as possible. We will announce changes if any on the FEA blog as well.
Author Profile & Author Box: We provide every author with an author profile & in the near future we will be adding a feature to display the author profile boxes on each article posted by that author. The data will be directly pulled from your profiles. Which is why you must edit your information such as bio, website, etc. No link spamming is allowed on the author profiles.
Images, Audio & Videos: You are allowed to embed images, audio & video files in your article. Only 1 of each per article is allowed. Your article must be at least 500 words if you are going to include all of the 3 at the same time. Images can be taken from our image library or your own. We do not allow hot linking of images from other websites. You must upload the image to our site first. No keyword stuffing, linking or advertising is allowed on the images used both on the image and on the article. Audio & Video files can only be embedded, you may not upload files to us. Files must be from sharing services such as you tube & should not be copyrighted. We do not allow copyrighted content, so please do not use copyrighted images, videos or audio in your article. The embedded media should also be relevant to the topic. Any irrelevant media will be removed without warning. You are allowed to embed media belonging to others but relevant to the topic provided that the owner of those media files have permitted you or others to do so. You cannot embed all 3 media in the same place, you have to embed them on alternate paragraphs. Without disturbing the flow of the article. Embedding can be done via the custom fields or HTML editor. There should be no branding, watermarks or trademarks on the images submitted.
SEO : We provide a built in SEO pack, namely All in One SEO. Before submitting the article you are required to copy paste the title in the proper field. Along with that please write a short description & add relevant keywords in the suggested fields. This will increase the on-page SEO greatly & would improve your chances of getting indexed faster & higher rankings in Google. You are free to do off-page SEO the way you wish by bookmarking or link building as long as you are not spamming. We provide lots of valuable tools on the site itself to allow you to bookmark when your article is published, in addition please refer to the FEA blog where we will update regularly with tips & ideas for better article marketing.
Author Pen Name: You are allowed to change pen name using your profile and decide what to display publicly. However we do not allow author names that are not ‘names’ but random words or keywords.
Language: English is the primary language your article must be written in, our translation service will auto translate your article & create 20+ different versions of it. However please note that if you wish to submit an article in any other language. Then select the category as ‘Foreign Language‘, no matter what the topic of your article is. Such articles may take more time to get approval.
Spam: Thinking to spam? Don’t even bother, if found that any of the submission guidelines are not followed we will auto reject your article. Spamming is not tolerated & will result in an IP ban even a possible ISP ban since we will contact your ISP & report you.
Comments & other features: We allow our visitors to comment & use other features of the site as and when they wish. You are not permitted to alter any of these. Track backs are also allowed. We have complete rights to the features we provide on the site. If for any reason you wish to disable comments then please contact the editor or admin. Or leave a message within your article to the editor.
Editorial Rights & Rewriting requests [Drafting] : Our editors & Admin reserves the rights to edit your article for grammar, spelling mistakes, broken links or even to improve its flow where they see fit. Editors can only makes changes if and only if any of the submission guidelines are not followed. An editor can also ‘draft’ your article, which means that the editor wants to publish your article after you have made some changes. Drafting is a way we request our authors to rewrite their articles, in such a case the editor will provide details to what he wants changed, such details will be posted within the articles.
Auto Submitters, Bots & Tools: We use auto submission services which can be found in the ‘Submit Articles’ page. However we do not allow automatic article submitters, bots & other tools to post your articles on FEA. This obviously would lead to many of the guidelines broken and thus we auto reject such articles, we have various tools to find out if the submission was manual or automatic. Please avoid such bots.
Articles submitted via forms or Email: We allow submission of articles indirectly via forms or emails. Such articles are exempted from certain guidelines and can be edited by the editors or admin.
Press releases & News: We allow press releases & News as long as they follow submission guidelines, are relevant & real. These needs to be submitted in appropriate categories titled as Press releases & News. We do not allow spamming in such categories and if you are submitting an article that is not ‘News’ or ‘Current’ then it will be drafted. Press releases needs to be unique.
Author How To’s: We have certain features on FEA which most Article directories don’t. We allow up to 1 special text box[like on homepage] and lots of other features that you can use on your article to make it more compelling & interactive. You are required to refer to the author How To’s page in order to learn or know how to use these features properly. If found that you are not correctly using such features we will auto remove the features completely from your article.
Additional Categories: We have some categories such as ‘Humor‘, ‘Inspirational & Motivational‘ & ‘Free Tools & Resources‘. Such categories are specially moderated and guidelines apply to them as well however there can be some exception. In future we might add additional categories as such including a classifieds category. Spamming & Advertising in such categories is not allowed. All submitted articles in ‘humor’ or ‘Inspirational & Motivational’ must be unique, your own work & not copied from other sites. If you are posting famous quotes or jokes then please add your comments and elaborate why you wish to post them or what they mean.
FAQ: You are required to read the FAQ before posting questions or details to the editor within your article.
